The Major Ports Sports Control Board (MPSCB) was established in 1975 with the aim of encouraging, promoting and developing Sports, Games & Cultural activities amongst the employees of the Major Ports and their children and organising competitions in various events every year. Apart from this, combined teams representing MPSCB take part in National Competitions organised by the affiliated federations.
